COMMERCIAL AND AGENCY SERVICES
C.R.E.W. has worked the Ojai Valley since 1991, first on backcountry trails in the Los Padres National Forest, now across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
Our field leads know the terrain, the soil, the fire behavior, and the native species to protect.
We take steep slopes, remote access, and ecologically sensitive sites that most contractors pass on.
Crews are S-212 chainsaw certified and Wilderness First Aid trained, supervised on site.
Fee-for-service contracting for professional land management, large-scale clearance, and more.

SERVICE AREA MAP
The Field Corps operates out of Ojai on a same-day return cycle. The darker zone is standard coverage. The lighter zone requires travel costs in the project budget.
-
C.R.E.W. provides specialized fuel reduction that meets Ventura County Fire Code while preserving the ecological health of the land.
Our Field Corps members use manual thinning and prescription techniques to reduce hazardous fuel loads without clear-cutting native habitat.
-
Our crews regularly service the Ojai Valley, Upper Ojai, Meiners Oaks, Mira Monte, the 101 corridor through Ventura, Camarillo, the Spanish Hills area, and as far as Summerland and Carpinteria along the coast.
We also work north to Wheeler Springs and Piru, and along the 23 freeway corridor toward Moorpark.
If your property is outside our regular service area, contact us anyway. We take on projects throughout the Central Coast region when the scope and budget allow it.
Travel, lodging, and per diem costs are factored into proposals for jobs outside our day-work zone.
-
All work is performed by trained youth crews under the direct supervision of Field Corps supervisors. We carry full liability insurance and follow all OSHA and wildfire safety protocols.
-
Managers must provide clear property boundaries and access points. For the safety of our crews, all domestic animals must be secured. Access to a reliable water source is required on-site.
-
Submitting the intake form initiates a satellite-based preliminary assessment. Formal site visits and binding estimates are scheduled following initial review. Work is performed on a fee-for-service basis.
-
Operational windows are subject to seasonal wildfire risk and crew availability. We prioritize projects that create contiguous fuel breaks or protect critical infrastructure.
